Hips
This is the widest part of your hips, across the hipbone. Measurement is taken approximately 7 inches below the natural waistline. This measurement is not needed for full gowns.
Hollow to Floor
This is the length from your hollow ( the hollow just under your neck ) to your heels. (Take the tape from your front, with bare foot ). You should stand upright and your feet should keep together. For Custom-tailored Floor-length Dresses, our tailor will make dress 5cm longer because of barefoot measuring for hollow to hem.

Upper Bust
Measure around the highest part of your chest directly under the arms.Your arms should be relaxed, down at your sides.

I purchased this dress earlier this year and the workmanship is excellent! The fit was very precise through the arms and back. The length was perfect bc Im 6'0. The dress fits like a glove so if you plan on splurging before an event, you may not want this dress. Looks great on, but can not gain a pound after its made! Wonderful look.

My god this dress is beautiful. I needed to get it adjusted but it was fine because there was a huge seam allowance. It is long though so you will need to hike up thse heels to the top floor. It will make your legs look longer under the slit anyway.

I am considering ordering this dress for my 50th birthday gala. Event hough its year and half away, I am still worried about the right size. I am plus size and wear 26W. I am 6 feet tall and fully proportioned, or as we say "well endowed"
not quite sure if I sure get a 26 and work with that or a 24 because I definitely intend to be a 22 for my birthday.

I ordered this dress in chocolate (the new black) and it is every bit as beautiful as in the photo. The fit is good, and with minor adjustment will be perfect. For me it just needs a nip and tuck at the shoulders, but that is not unusual for me, and the sleeves need tightening at the wrists (I have tiny wrists)......... the material is beautiful and the dress is well made.
It arrived super fast.. I couldn't belive it was here on Aug 10, and I ordered on July 27.... fantastic

i ordered this dress for my senior prom this year.
even though i did receive the dress a tad bit later than expected, the customer service at Lightweddingdresses helped me with a satisfactory refund.
i ordered the dress two sizes larger than needed and made alterations. (converted into a high-low, stoned trim on train, and inserted piece from cuffs at the breast)
